Boosting the Safe and Secure Production of Renewable Energy

In 2009 we established a team to pursue our policy of protecting the environment by reducing and offsetting the CO₂ generated in the course of product manufacturing and transport. Since then we have offered mega solar power plants and lineups of other facilities to provide renewable energy solutions meeting local needs.
We takes advantage of the buildings and idle land of the NYK Group to meet the power demands of about 2,600 households*1 inside and outside of Japan each year. This service reduces annual CO₂ emissions by about 4,700 tons*2.

We are fully committed to the popularization of renewable energy.
