On October 1, 2015, NYK Trading Corporation is transferring and integrating its Machinery Sales Group to Hikawa Marine Corporation, which is to be renamed to NYKT Marine Co., Ltd. The new company will be commencing the following steps as of the same day.
From October 1, 2015, NYKT Marine Co., Ltd. will be launching a new business as a trading company (with annual sales about 8 billion yen) specialized in the handling of marine machinery components, marine supplies, and related goods and services. Backed by the improved operational efficiency, heightened economies of scale, and synergy effects gained through the abovementioned integration, we will provide high-value-added, reliable, premier-quality services that fully satisfy the levels of expertise and convenience our customers demand.
